Bardia Zandian Hits the Slopes & the BooksAs someone who already possesses a Master's in electrical engineering from USC and is continuing study for his PhD in the field, Bardia Zandian never ceases to amaze. Despite his intense workload, he continually shows his smiling face and outgoing personality up in Mammoth as one of the regulars on the team.
Bardia is originally from Iran and grew up loving the outdoors. He got into skiing when he was 7 and switched to boarding about 8 years ago and hasn't looked back. Aside from snowboarding as much as he can, Bardia loves to hike and camp. If you ask what Bardia has been up to recently he'll probably tell you about bungee jumping, traversing the Grand Canyon, or camping in Joshua Tree (thanks Facebook).
Putting his expertise of electrical systems to good use, Bardia offered to help rewire our ancient built-in-house speaker system last New Year's Eve. Equipped with his headlamp and a few screw drivers Bardia got to work. After everything was up and running Bardia kept happily assuring us that "everything is perfectly normal and okay!" whenever we'd question the strange burning plastic smells coming from all of the wall sockets.
Bardia, thanks for the great times and we're glad you're back for another few years!
