The heart and soul of 4FRNT Skis is Matt Sterbenz. It is his brainchild. Matt has been a success in the ski industry since the first wave of the freeskiing progression. Around 2001, unsatisfied with European ski companies' low-performance freeride skis, Matt decided to take matters into his own hands. He did his research and started building skis uniquely tailored to meet the needs of the highest-level rider. That same year he pressed some skis in a garage in Truckee, California, and 4FRNT was born. Matt started 4FRNT, he runs 4FRNT and he has worked tirelessly to make it the successful company that it is today. His love of skiing and his own progression as an athlete have never faded. He maintains his status as a world-class professional skier and innovator. Matt's the man who makes it all happen.
