Opening Weekend 2010

Mannn ohh mannn!!! Where do I begin! The first three weeks in Mammoth have been absolutely killer! From the epic bluebird pow days, crazy delicous thanksgiving feast (your mother taught you well Flanagan!), donut sessions in PEARL, to the endless dance parties, this beginning couldn’t get much better. We were able to ski right down to the village by weekend two! This Saturday when the storm was in full force, us skiers decided to dabble in the art of snowboarding. It was a blast shredding the mini park with the girls. The turnout at the house has been great so far and the new members have been throwing down on the slopes. Down below is Abe’s newest video edit from opening weekend. It shows what a normal morning in the Mammoth ski house is like, POV style!!!

We’re back with new videos coming at you regularly! Subscribe to keep up!
Great opening weekend in Mammoth with some fun park features! Get back into the mood of things with a morning with the crew!

Shot entirely on GoPro HD

Songs:
The Strokes – Last Night
Fabian – Heat Wave

Finally, I would like to make a shout out to Randy who had a bad spill in the park. Our team wishes you the best man, get better soon!

[..YouTube..] @abekislevitz this really doesnt look like go pro quality.. every other video ive watched had 10 times worse quality.. and the shadow from the camera in this video doesnt look like a go pro. is it honestly the go pro camera?

  19. Posted November 28, 2010 at 10:29 pm | Permalink

[..YouTube..] @rangerssoccer It’s GoPro. Abe and his buddies test stuff for GoPro as well. GoPro is coming out with a Stereoscopic mount that holds two GoPros side by side, looks like that may be what’s in the shadow. Am I right Abe?

  40. Posted December 10, 2010 at 12:21 am | Permalink

[..YouTube..] Abe, I’m guessing the super slow motion sequences are a result of post editing, not just the straight 60fps? also congrats on getting the Finn anderson edit on newshcoolers video of the day that huge man. hope you get picked up by a production company your editing style is mad progressive, like JOSS status.
