Fashion Guru & Photographer Extraordinaire is Spotted on the Slopes – March 2008
Nelson De Castro, former snowboard captain and Mustache March participant, is seen here doing just a few of the many things he’s mastered thus far in his life. In this case it’s snowboarding and photography. Equipped with his new Canon 40D, Kevin Chang’s O’Neill retro glasses, Chris Farro’s asparagus beanie, and his tall-t, Nelson embodied all that is awesome in this wild generation.
Nelson showed up in Mammoth just about every weekend over the past two years while attending USC. If you’re on the team there’s no doubt that you know him. Besides ripping it up in the terrain park as one of the few dedicated snowboarders on the team, he’s also skilled in guitar playing and making sweet beats in Garage Band.
I know we all look forward to seeing Nelson on and off the slopes again in the Fall. See you soon Nelson!
